  • You must have worked for your employer for at least 1 year as of the date when you would go n leave. Though these months need not be consecutive, a break in service is not preferable
  • You must have worked for your employer for at least 1250 hours in the last 12 months before going on your leave.
  • You must work at the worksite with 50 employees within a 75 miles radius.

Though FMLA leave is unpaid, your employer may require you to use other accumulated Paid leaves for Paid maternity leave in Texas 2017. The reason for leave should however be genuine.
